Join us in downtown Utica for Sip ‘n’ Snip, a Dog Friendly Block Party sponsored by Just Animals Shelter and August Hill Winery. Mill Street in downtown Utica will be closed for this fun street party. Bring your dog and enjoy games, raffles, music, wine and lots of fun. Food will be available from local Utica businesses.

Pet Costume Contest 11:30am
Prizes awarded for: Sip ‘n’ Snip Theme, Best Dressed,
and Owner and Pet Look Alike

Doxie Derby 12 noon

$20 registration in advance $30 day of event
3 categories – Rookie (under one year old) Middle Agers (1 to 8 years old)
and Old Timers (8 years and over)
Stay for the races and join us in the Weiner Circle for the awards!

I Scream CONE Contest 1:00pm
Come cheer on our favorite veterinarian contestants as they maneuver their
ice cream around their “CONE of Shame.”

Best Friends Pet Photo Contest Winners Announced 2:30pm
In front of August Hill Winery.
Join us as we announce this year’s Top Dog and Coolest Cat Photo winners!

Raffle Basket Drawings 3pm

Bring your Dog!
*Please note that dogs are not allowed inside many of the local businesses, but are welcome to hang out with their owners all along Mill Street during the event. There will be plenty of fun stuff for your dog to do!

Proceeds from this event and the photo contest support the
spay/neuter program at Just Animals Shelter in Mazon Il.
